New Site

Well the joomla cms is up. I ended up cheating and resolving my final layout issues by putting the main body of the page in a table.. naughty, but it works

A little short on content right now but the main sticking point is the module in joomla that ties up user accounts between the forums and the main user db in joomla. I'd not had chance to test this prior to getting the site up due to licensing requirements within vbulletin. It transpires that it's rather buggy and on our system refuses to initialise, never mind then actually sync accounts!

Joomla 1.0.9 was released last night, so the site's now patched up, and there's been talk of an update to the module mentioned above for the latest version so i guess I'll wait and see what happens.

I'm now awol for a few days, hopefully nothing will go seriously wrong in my absence!

fixed some IE layout issues this evening.. the right-hand column was being naughty on the front page.

I've also added the bikemagic rss feed to the front page. What do you reckon, fine where it is or better somewhere else??
