Changes to the forum

I've installed a new version of phpbb for postnuke.

This version is a separate development project from the previous one and is relatively new. It promises more functionality and better integration with postnuke.

I'm hoping the transition will be painless, but please let me know if you experience anything strange happening when you're using it ;)

I'm going to attempt to recreate the old forum silver theme with the new stuff, but it's a matter of getting some time to do it!

Have they posted up instructions on how to upgrade then? If so could you point me at where ... I have been waiting for the instructions, but haven't seen anything yet :(

Anyway, so far, it looks as though everything has upgraded nicely. The theme is working and there is now this handy option for a 'quick reply'.

Cheers Jon. And am I right in saying that the private message feature is new? It was quite neat the way I entered the forum area and got a little pop-up saying that I had a private message with a link directly to it. Sweet ... I already like this new version 8)
