We're planning another trip to Coed y Brenin this year kicking off Friday 12th September, through to the Sunday. We're fortunate enough to have a number of rooms available at the Bikers Retreat B&B (http://www.bikers-retreat.com/b.r.home.htm) for the first time in about 3 years, so you'll be getting a comfy room with en-suite bathroom and cooked breakfasts.

So far we have 6 confirmed:

Stephen Masters
Michael Cheung
Jon Hodd
Ruth Hodd
Daniel Hackett
Dan's chum (name yet to be discovered)

So if you want to come, get word to Steve as soon as you can. Places are only available as long as there are rooms at the inn.

thanks stevie for arranging a room for us!!

the only issue i have at the mo, which we've only just realised, is that Lydia is starting her new school in Sept at Stone, hence, we need a car to pick her up after school and because we only have 1 car now, i can't do an early friday ride, but i should get their friday evening to take full advantage of full english breakfast the next morning for fuel! ;)

I've finally got round to booking us into a double, booked for fri and sat eve but not sure what time we'll be down yet

Matt has now discovered he has a wedding to attend that weekend so won't be coming and Dan from work is going to be far too broke, so I don't think we'll see him either

Will be keeping an eye on the weather this week - if it looks like it's going to be an utter washout I will probably forego my deposit and stay at home; riding in the pissing rain with specs on is impossible when you're as short-sighted as me :mad2:

That said, if it looks like anything other than heavy rain, I will be down. I'm still not convinced my ankle is going to hold up to too much abuse, but there's only really 1 way to find out!

Ruth injured her back about 3 weeks ago, so she'll be sticking to the fire roads if she rides

Well I don't think we could have asked for better weather than that!

Fantastic riding and it was great to be able to meet a couple more like-minded riders, Dan and Gary. Thanks for coming along guys, hopefully we'll see you again!

Bit gutted my mind wasn't entirely on enjoying the trails, and doubly gutted my ankle got aggravated on the second ride but I'm still glad I came down, even if I ended up leaving frustrated. :moo:
