View Full Version : Insurance
I'm looking to insure my bike, I don't really want to put it on the home contents insurance. I'd rather have a separate, no quibble insurance policy for it.
So does any one know of a good company to insure with? :?
Home contents is the way to go; if you can get it on there you have to, it's the law
Seriously, from what i've read on bikemagic, putting it on your contents insurance is by far the best value for money you'll get.
The AA have been fantastic about my bike getting nicked. They were understanding and quick to action.
I have had mine insured with E and L (http://www.eandl.co.uk/) and they are pretty good. However home insurance is definitely the way to go, trouble is I'm still at uni and can't get decent home insurance.

I seem to remember Andy having a look into bike-specific insurance. There seemed to be so many conditions in which they wouldn't pay out, it just didn't seem worth it!
